LogicGem has the ability to compile a decision table into human-readable text and application source code. For documentation purposes, LogicGem can generate text to describe the rules defined in the table. Software developers can use LogicGem to generate source code that is compatible with their programming language of choice.
When you download LogicGem, the installer is found inside a ZIP archive named logicgem4-win32-setup.zip. This archive contains two files, the installer executable (.exe) and a readme.txt file which provides some general information about the installation package. We recommend you make a backup copy of the ZIP file so you can reinstall LogicGem if needed.
When you purchase a LogicGem license, you will receive an email from our sales team which contains a product serial number. During the installation of LogicGem, an error message similar to “The system cannot find the file specified” may be displayed and the installation fails. This typically occurs after you have accepted the license agreement and entered your license information, when the installer begins copying files to the local system.
If your anti-virus software detects a virus in the LogicGem installation package, it is likely a false-positive report made by the heuristics engine in the software you are using. We routinely verify that our installers are safe by submitting them to VirusTotal, which scans them using multiple anti-virus engines.
